Here is a link about connecting the learners with technology by an

Effective use of technology for connected learning can improve students' comprehension skills. With the use of technology for connected learning, the students have the opportunity to share their thoughts and point of views and also it is possible for them to have direct contact with the experts in the field. Using technology for connecting the learners gives the students a whole new perspective to their learning ability.
Imagine that a student wants to learn a foreign language or research about a culture other than his or her own. By using the Skype the students can have an easy and quick access with the native speaker of that particular foreign language and they have a chance to share their thoughts and knowledge together. |
One of the technological tools
which connects the learners as well as educators is Twitter. Learners can easily share their thoughts and ideas as well as having their latest updates about their classroom. One of the uniqueness about this social media is for professionals only and the messages are consist of less words. |

Using social media such as: Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter is another important tools which connect the teachers and students together. Based on their personal experience, the students will use those social medias to get connected and then they will connect to the expert in the field of their research project. For example, the students want to have a research about the
solar system in their astronomy class. They can communicate with each other and gather information and observe the progress the group did. Then, they can contact an expert such as an astronomer in the observatory and asking him or her to give them extra information they need. In my opinion proper use of technology for connected learning can improve engagement in learning, increase collaboration, and decrease misbehavior among the students. |
